A design group based in Richmond, Va., has opened a new office in Charleston, marking its second South Carolina location.

The Timmons Group, an engineering and technology firm with an office in Columbia, will offer its full range of service to clients at both locations, according to a news release from the firm.

“With this new footprint, we can offer more robust services to our clients and make an impact in the growing Lowcountry region of the state. Our work in the Carolinas has already strengthened our relationships with many local clients,” Brian Crutchfield, leader of the new Charleston office, said in the release. “The Charleston office further cements our commitment to the region and positions us to provide innovative solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients.”

The Charleston office will be in Suite 500 at 1859 Summerville Ave., in the Lumberyard building.

Timmons Group has worked on projects including industrial developments, commercial projects for national banks and retailers, K-12 school projects and office buildings, according to the release.

Most of the company’s offices are in the Southeast, but the Timmons Group has locations across the country, including as far away as Portland, Ore.
