Kuzco Lighting has opened a new distribution facility in Greenville, set to begin operations in January.

Located at 25 Barnes Trail, the state-of-the-art facility will serve as Kuzco’s East Coast distribution hub, complementing the company’s existing operations in Las Vegas, and Surrey, British Columbia, according to a Greenville Area Development Corp. news release.

This new expansion marks a significant milestone for Kuzco Lighting as it continues to grow its presence across North America. With an investment of approximately $1 million, the Greenville facility will create 20 new jobs over the next five years, and will allow the company to meet growing demand, improve shipping efficiency, and streamline inventory management.

“This new facility represents an important step in our mission to provide faster and more reliable service to our customers,” said Nathan Yang, president of Kuzco Group, said in the release. “By strategically positioning our distribution operations in Greenville, we are reducing lead times by 50% and improving in-stock availability for our East Coast partners and customers.”

Kuzco Lighting’s mission in lighting has been to create cutting edge design using the latest in LED technology at a price that is well-priced.

Kuzco Lighting’s expansion into Greenville is part of the company’s broader growth strategy to increase its U.S. market footprint and deliver on its commitment to providing high-quality, design-forward lighting solutions, the release stated. Known for its cutting-edge designs and energy-efficient products, Kuzco has received numerous industry accolades, including Red Dot and LIT Design Awards. The new facility will enhance Kuzco’s ability to meet rising demand for its modern lighting products while continuing its dedication to sustainability and operational excellence.

“We are excited to welcome Kuzco Lighting to South Carolina,” said Max Stewart, CEO of the Greenville Area Development Corp. in the release. “Their investment in Greenville County further solidifies the region as a thriving center for distribution and logistics operations. Kuzco’s presence here reflects the Upstate’s commitment to supporting growing businesses that seek to expand their reach and better serve their customers.”
