A longtime Greenville construction firm has new digs.
After more than 30 years of helping shape Greenville’s skyline, construction company Brasfield & Gorrie has relocated to a new, expanded office, according to a news release from the Greenville City Economic Development Corp..
The company doubled its office footprint downtown earlier this month when it moved from Greenville’s ONE Towers — a building they helped construct — to 935 S. Main St., Suite 300 in The Field House and the city’s West End, according to the release. The new 15,000-square-foot space overlooking Fluor Field will house Brasfield & Gorrie’s more than 75 employees.
“We’ve been putting down roots in Greenville for nearly 30 years, and it’s exciting to watch our growth,” said Ben Barfield, vice president and division manager, said in the release. “Greenville welcomed us with open arms, and we’re blessed by the relationships that have supported our growth.”
Brasfield & Gorrie began working in South Carolina in the 1980s but opened its first office in Greenville in 2013, according to the release. Its past projects in the city include the Camperdown development, DC BLOX Greenville data center and the Carroll A. Campbell Jr. US Courthouse.
Other notable projects in the Upstate include renovations to Clemson University Memorial Stadium, including the installation of the eighth largest video board in the nation, and multiple projects for Prisma Health.
