Project description: Originally built in 1917, Quarters J at the Charleston Navy Yard Officers’ Quarters Historic District was reconfigured to officer housing in 1934. The existing structure had extensive moisture and termite damage and environmentally hazardous materials. Original materials including siding, trim, windows and interior millwork were removed and restored, and a new HVAC, electrical systems and roof will be installed. This rehabilitation will create flexible office space
